Phoenix, AZ – Police are investigating a crime that occurred near Camelback Mountain. According to witnesses, a suspect attempted to rob a convenience store located near the base of the mountain. The suspect fled the scene on foot and headed towards Papago Park. Officers searched the surrounding areas for the suspect, but they were unable to locate him. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Phoenix Police Department.
