A homicide investigation is underway in Phoenix after a shooting occurred near the Arizona State Capitol Building. Police responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of the Capitol, which is located near the Phoenix Convention Center and Talking Stick Resort Arena. Upon arrival, officers found a victim with gunshot wounds who was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. The suspect reportedly fled the scene and is still at large. The investigation is ongoing and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
