A robbery occurred at a convenience store on the corner of Meridian Street and Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis. According to witnesses, the suspect threatened the cashier with a weapon and demanded money before fleeing the scene on foot towards the Indiana State Capitol building. Police have released surveillance footage of the suspect and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
