A 32-year-old man was arrested for stealing a purse from a tourist near the Statue of Liberty in New York City. The thief was caught on surveillance cameras snatching the purse and fleeing towards Battery Park. Thanks to the quick response by the NYPD, the suspect was quickly apprehended near the Brooklyn Bridge. The victim was shaken but unharmed, and her purse and belongings were returned to her.
