Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting that took place in the West Philadelphia area. According to authorities, a man was shot multiple times while standing outside of his home. The victim was transported to a local hospital, and his condition is currently unknown.
In another incident, police are searching for suspects involved in a string of robberies that have taken place in the East Falls area. The suspects are believed to have robbed multiple businesses at gunpoint, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Additionally, a woman was assaulted and robbed while walking in the Kensington neighborhood. The suspect approached the victim from behind, hit her in the head, and stole her purse before fleeing the scene. The victim was treated for minor injuries.
In University City, police arrested a man for possession of a stolen vehicle and firearms. The suspect was pulled over for a traffic violation, and police discovered the stolen vehicle and two firearms in the vehicle.
Finally, a man was charged with burglary in the Chestnut Hill area. The suspect allegedly broke into a home and stole multiple items, including electronics and jewelry. Police were able to track down the suspect and recover some of the stolen items.
