A New York man was arrested and charged with assault and robbery after allegedly attacking a woman and stealing her purse. The incident occurred in the early morning hours in a quiet neighborhood in the Upper West Side. According to police, the suspect punched the victim in the face, causing her to fall to the ground, before snatching her purse and fleeing on foot. The woman suffered minor injuries and was treated at a nearby hospital. The suspect was later apprehended and taken into custody.
