Atlanta Police Investigating Shooting in Midtown Atlanta
ATLANTA, GA – Atlanta police are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the Midtown area. Officers responded to reports of gunfire in the vicinity of a popular restaurant and discovered one individual with a gunshot wound.
According to witnesses, an altercation erupted between two groups of individuals near the entrance of the restaurant, leading to the shooting. The wounded individual was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, and their condition is currently unknown.
Law enforcement officers quickly arrived at the scene and secured the area. They are currently interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. No arrests have been made at this time.
