In Charlotte, a man was arrested after a high-speed police chase that spanned several miles. The chase began when officers attempted to pull over the man for a traffic violation, but he refused to stop. The man was eventually apprehended after crashing his vehicle into a ditch and attempting to flee on foot. During the pursuit, the man endangered multiple other drivers on the road. He is facing charges of reckless driving, fleeing from law enforcement, and possession of a controlled substance. Thankfully, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
