The recall covers the Agio Menlo Woven Patio Swing with model number 1934256. The swings feature a black metal frame and swing arms, a fabric canopy, and a padded seat in brown outdoor wicker. The swing frame is approximately 75 inches high, 71 inches wide, and 48 inches deep. The model number 1934256 can be found on the assembly instructions included with the product. The recalled swings were sold exclusively at Costco retail stores and at Costco.com from February 1, 2026, through March 14, 2026, for between $549 and $649.
Why Was This Product Recalled?
The support hooks connecting the swing seat to the swing frame can dislodge while the swing is in use, causing the seat to detach without warning and drop backward. This creates a serious fall hazard — occupants can be thrown backward and strike the frame, the ground, or nearby surfaces. World Bright International has received eight reports of the seat detaching, resulting in eight confirmed injuries including impact injuries to the head and arms. The defect is in the original S-hooks used to hang the seat, which are being replaced with redesigned and tested hooks.
