Changsha Yuelu District Ruiwu E-Commerce Co., Ltd., doing business as WURUI.BABY of China, has recalled approximately 1,310 Wnttmt infant walkers after the CPSC determined they violate the mandatory federal safety standard for infant walkers in two distinct ways: the walkers can roll through a standard doorway and fail to stop at the edge of a step, and the leg openings are large enough that a baby can slip down until their head becomes entrapped. The recall was announced August 6, 2026. No injuries have been reported.
What’s Being Recalled?
The recall covers Wnttmt-branded infant walkers, sold in gray with a white tray and round base. The walkers have eight-wheel assemblies and three adjustable levels. “Production Batch: 202509” is printed on a tracking label located under the seat. The walkers were sold exclusively on Amazon.com from February 2026 through March 2026 for between $65 and $75.
Why Was This Product Recalled?
The recalled walkers have two separate safety violations. First, they can fit through a standard doorway and fail to stop at the edge of a step, posing a deadly fall hazard. Federal safety standards require infant walkers to be wide enough to stop at doorframes and to have braking mechanisms that engage at step edges — because infants in walkers cannot perceive or react to drop hazards. Second, the leg openings allow the child to slip down until the child’s head can become entrapped, posing a risk of serious injury or death. A baby whose head becomes trapped in the walker opening can suffocate or sustain a neck injury before a caregiver is able to intervene.
What Should You Do?
Stop using the recalled Wnttmt infant walker immediately. Contact WURUI.BABY for a full refund by emailing [email protected]. Consumers will be asked to disassemble the walker, cut the fabric seat, write “Recalled” on the top of the tray in permanent marker and send a photo of the recalled infant walker to the same email address. After your refund is confirmed, dispose of the disassembled walker.
