Qabefy Recalls Twin Mattresses Sold On Amazon Over Failure To Meet Federal Flammability Safety Standard

Product recall

Qabefy is recalling approximately 774 twin-size mattresses sold on Amazon after the CPSC determined the mattresses violate the mandatory federal flammability standard for mattresses, posing a risk of serious injury or death from fire. The recall was announced August 13, 2026. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The mattresses were sold exclusively on Amazon.com from November 2025 through March 2026 for between $120 and $140.

What’s Being Recalled?

The recalled product is the Qabefy 10-inch twin-size mattress, white on top with black sides and orange trim. The mattress is sold in a compressed box with “Item NO.: CD01101US” printed on the packaging. The mattresses were sold exclusively on Amazon.com.

Why Was This Product Recalled?

The recalled mattresses fail to meet the mandatory federal flammability standard for mattresses, which requires mattresses to resist ignition when exposed to an open flame. A mattress that violates this standard may ignite more quickly and intensely in a fire, significantly increasing the risk of injury or death. Federal law requires all mattresses sold in the United States to meet this standard.

What Should You Do?

Stop using the recalled Qabefy mattress immediately. Contact Qabefy for a full refund by emailing [email protected]. You will be asked to write “Recalled,” your name, and the current date on the top surface of the mattress in permanent marker, and email a photo of the marked mattress as proof before disposal.
