Truststone Group LLC of New York is recalling approximately 32,400 XO Poppy Power Trip Magnetic Wireless Power Banks after the lithium-ion battery was found to overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards. The recall was announced September 3, 2026. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The power banks were sold exclusively at TJX and Marshalls stores nationwide from April 2025 through March 2026 for approximately $15.
What’s Being Recalled?
The recall covers XO Poppy Power Trip Magnetic Wireless Power Banks with model number PYPBK5M, in three designs:
Cream — model PY-PBK5M-CR2
Cream with pink bow print — model PY-PBK5M-BW8
Black with teddy bear print — model PY-PBK5M-TB2
The specific model number is printed on the bottom of the original packaging, directly above the barcode. The power banks were sold exclusively at TJX and Marshalls stores nationwide from April 2025 through March 2026 for about $15.
Why Was This Product Recalled?
The lithium-ion battery in the recalled power banks can overheat and ignite during use or charging, posing fire and burn hazards. No incidents or injuries have been reported. Overheating lithium-ion batteries can swell, rupture, and ignite nearby materials — a serious fire risk particularly when these compact devices are charged on nightstands, desks, or other surfaces near flammable items.
