Romorgniz Six-Drawer Dressers Sold On Amazon Recalled Over Child Tip-Over Risk

Product Recall

Romorgniz is recalling about 12,078 Romorgniz Six-Drawer Dressers because they are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall and can tip over onto children. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall on October 8, 2026. The dressers do not meet the mandatory federal safety standard for clothing storage units set by the STURDY Act. They were sold exclusively on Amazon.com from May 2025 through August 2026 for between $100 and $170.

What’s Being Recalled?

The recall involves Romorgniz Six-Drawer Dressers made of wood and sold in white and black. Each dresser measures about 27.6 inches wide, 15.6 inches deep, and 43.2 inches tall, and weighs about 73.3 pounds. The dressers were imported by Baituo Innovation Technology Co. Ltd., which does business as Romorgniz. They were manufactured by Zhangzhou Jinhao Sen Smart Home Co., Ltd. Both companies are based in China. The CPSC recall number is 27-020.

Why Was This Product Recalled?

When the dressers are not anchored to the wall, they can become unstable and tip forward, posing tip-over and entrapment hazards that can seriously injure or kill a child. Young children often climb on dressers or pull on open drawers, which can shift enough weight forward to bring the whole unit down. Furniture tip-overs injure thousands of children every year, which is why the STURDY Act set mandatory stability requirements for dressers and other clothing storage units. No incidents or injuries have been reported with these dressers so far.

What Should You Do?

If your dresser is not anchored to the wall, stop using it immediately and move it to an area children cannot access. Contact Romorgniz for a full refund. To receive the refund, write “RECALLED” in permanent marker on the top, front, and sides of the dresser and remove all of the drawers. Then email photos of the marked and disassembled dresser to [email protected]. After that, dispose of the dresser.
