No other Amy’s Kitchen products or lot numbers are included.
What’s Being Recalled?
The recall covers Amy’s Organic Lentil Soup, Light in Sodium, 14.5 oz (411g) cans. Only one lot number is affected: lot number 60D0924, with a best-by date of April 2027. Both identifiers are printed on the can. The soup was distributed in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
Why Was This Product Recalled?
A manufacturing defect was found in the easy-open pull-tab on the affected cans. The defect could compromise the hermetic seal of the can, allowing air to enter and the soup to spoil prematurely — before the printed best-by date. Amy’s Kitchen initiated the recall out of an abundance of caution to ensure the quality and safety of its products. A spoiled canned product can harbor bacteria and cause foodborne illness if consumed. No injuries or illnesses have been reported.

Check your pantry for Amy’s Organic Lentil Soup, Light in Sodium 14.5 oz cans with lot number 60D0924 and a best-by date of April 2027. Do not eat the recalled soup.
