Audio Partnership, LLC is recalling approximately 714 Cambridge Audio Yoyo (M) Portable Bluetooth Speakers after the lithium-ion batteries were found to overheat and pose a serious fire hazard. The recall was announced September 3, 2026. Audio Partnership has received four reports of incidents resulting in fire, smoke, and the ejection of battery material from the speakers. No injuries have been reported. The speakers were sold at specialty stores nationwide and online at cambridgeaudio.com, Amazon.com, and eBay.
What’s Being Recalled?
The recall covers Cambridge Audio Yoyo (M) Portable Bluetooth Speakers, sold in pairs in three colors: dark gray, light gray, and blue. The product name “Yoyo (M)” and an FD number are visible on the underside of each speaker. The affected FD numbers by color are:
Dark Gray — FD number beginning with C10931 (UPC 8 13371 02296 6)
Light Gray — FD number beginning with C10930 (UPC 8 13371 02295 9)
Blue — FD number beginning with C10965 (UPC 8 13371 02492 2)
The speakers were sold at specialty stores nationwide and online at cambridgeaudio.com, Amazon.com, and eBay from 2016 through 2022 for between $172 and $218 per pair.
Why Was This Product Recalled?
The lithium-ion batteries inside the recalled speakers can overheat during use or charging, posing a fire hazard. Audio Partnership has received four reports of incidents in which the speakers caught fire, produced smoke, and ejected battery material. Given the 2016-2022 retail window, these speakers have been in homes for as long as a decade and may be in regular daily use.

Stop using and stop charging the recalled Cambridge Audio Yoyo (M) speakers immediately. Disconnect them from any power source and store them away from flammable materials.
