The UPC is 194346207961, the lot code is LB028ACP04, and the expiration date is January 28, 2027 — all printed on the jar. No other lots of bettergoods Pistachio Nut Butter are included. The product was manufactured by Gustibus Alimentari Srl of Assoro, Italy, imported by Botticelli, and distributed exclusively by Walmart to stores in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Washington, and Wyoming.
Why Was This Product Recalled?
On July 17, 2026, Walmart learned that the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services had tested three jars of the product during a routine inspection at a Walmart retail store and identified Salmonella contamination. Salmonella can cause fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. In rare cases, the infection can enter the bloodstream and cause more serious conditions including infected aneurysms, endocarditis, and arthritis. Young children, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals are at the highest risk of serious illness.

Check your pantry for bettergoods Pistachio Nut Butter in a 6.7 oz glass jar with lot code LB028ACP04 and an expiration date of January 28, 2027. Do not eat the recalled product.
