Conair Recalls 12,660 Cuisinart Propel+ Four Burner 3-In-1 Gas Grills Over Shattering Pizza Oven Glass

CPSC

Conair LLC, doing business as Cuisinart, has recalled approximately 12,660 Cuisinart Propel+ Four Burner 3-In-1 Gas Grills after the tempered glass window on the built-in pizza oven was found to shatter during use — sending sharp glass fragments in all directions and posing a serious laceration hazard. The recall was announced July 9, 2026. Conair has received 37 reports of the glass shattering, including one fire. No injuries have been reported. The grills were sold at Lowe’s and Walmart.

What’s Being Recalled?

The recalled product is the Cuisinart Propel+ Four Burner 3-In-1 Gas Grill with pizza oven, model number CGG-6331, a stainless-steel outdoor gas grill featuring a griddle, a stove top burner, and a pizza oven with a tempered glass window built into the top lid. The model number CGG-6331 and the serial number are located on a label on the inside of the right-hand metal door of the grill. The grills were sold at Lowe’s and Walmart, and on cuisinart.com, from December 2024 through May 2026 for between $500 and $750.

Why Was This Product Recalled?

The tempered glass window built into the pizza oven portion of the grill can shatter unexpectedly during use, sending sharp glass fragments outward and posing a serious risk of laceration to the person operating the grill and to bystanders. Conair has received 37 reports of the glass shattering, including one associated fire incident. Tempered glass shatters into many small sharp pieces rather than large shards — but at close range during outdoor grilling, the spray of glass fragments can cause serious cuts to hands, arms, and face. Peak summer grilling season means these units are likely in active use.

What Should You Do?

Upon verification, you will receive a $500 refund by check, or the original purchase amount with a receipt. After receiving your refund, write “Recall” on the glass with a black marker and dispose of it. Contact Conair toll-free at 833-408-0463, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET.
