Fi of New York is recalling two of its dietary supplements for dogs after discovering that a contaminated ingredient supplied to its manufacturer may have led to possible Salmonella contamination. The recall was announced September 3, 2026, and published by the FDA on September 8, 2026. No illnesses in pets or humans have been reported. Fi has suspended production while the investigation continues. The recalled products were sold on Amazon and Chewy.com.
What’s Being Recalled?
Two Fi dog supplement products are included:
Fi Calming Supplement for Dogs, 180g — Lot number 26118, UPC 8 50064 80011 1.
Fi 8-in-1 Formula Supplement for Dogs, 180g — Lot number 26159, UPC 8 50055 11168 4.
Both products were distributed directly to consumers and through Amazon and Chewy.com. The lot number is printed on the product packaging.
Why Was This Product Recalled?
Fi was notified by its manufacturer that an ingredient used in these supplements has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Salmonella poses a dual risk in pet supplements: it can cause illness in the animals consuming the product, and humans who handle contaminated products or come into contact with pet waste can also be exposed. Symptoms in pets include lethargy, diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, fever, and vomiting. People infected with Salmonella may experience nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramping, and fever.
What Should You Do?
