Flaunt Recalls 1,400 MagSafe Battery Chargers Over Lithium-Ion Battery That Can Overheat And Catch Fire

product recall

iDecoz Inc., doing business as Flaunt of Brooklyn, New York, has recalled approximately 1,400 Flaunt MagSafe Battery Charger power banks after the lithium-ion battery was found to overheat and ignite, posing a fire and burn hazard. The recall was announced July 9, 2026. Flaunt has received five reports of the power banks overheating and catching fire, including one burn to a consumer’s hand, one burn to a consumer’s arm, and four reports of minor property damage. The chargers were sold exclusively on flauntcases.com.

What’s Being Recalled?

The recalled product is the Flaunt MagSafe Battery Charger power bank, model number E33A, available in melon, black, lavender, and white. “FLAUNT” is engraved on the front right side of the charger, and a small circular button is on the bottom center of the front. The back label reads “FLAUNT” and “Model: E33A.” The charger measures 3 by 2 by 0.25 inches and weighs about 3.2 ounces. The chargers were sold exclusively at flauntcases.com from May 2024 through April 2025 for approximately $65. Notably, this is the second recall of a MagSafe power bank with model number E33A — in April 2026, the Casely Power Pods recall covered an identically-labeled product sold under a different brand name.

Why Was This Product Recalled?

The lithium-ion battery in the recalled charger can overheat and ignite during use, posing a fire and burn hazard. Flaunt has received five confirmed reports of the charger catching fire, resulting in burns to consumers’ hands and arms and damage to nearby property. Lithium-ion batteries that overheat can swell, rupture, and ignite nearby materials, a serious fire risk whenever the charger is left unattended.

What Should You Do?

Stop using the recalled Flaunt MagSafe Battery Charger immediately. Visit flauntcases.com/pages/recall to register for a refund. You will be asked to submit two photographs: one showing the front of the charger with the word “Recalled,” your initials, and the registration date written in permanent marker, and one showing the model number E33A on the back. Upon verification, you will receive a $65 refund check or an $80 store credit. Do not throw the recalled charger in the regular trash, curbside recycling, or standard battery recycling boxes — contact your local municipal household hazardous waste center for proper lithium-ion battery disposal.
