Loving Thyself Rocks LLC of Winter Park, Florida, is recalling about 600 Crystal Glass Cups with Loose Crystal Chips because the glass can break inside the cup while someone is drinking from it, posing a risk of swallowing glass or getting cut. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall on October 15, 2026. The cups were sold at the Loving Thyself store, through the company’s Instagram accounts, and on Etsy.com from April 2026 through September 2026 for between $20 and $50.
What’s Being Recalled?
The recall involves Crystal Glass Cups with Loose Crystal Chips, decorative drinking glasses with loose crystal stone chips sealed between two layers of glass. The cups are meant for both display and drinking, and each measures about 3.5 by 3 inches. They were sold with many different crystal options, including amethyst, rose quartz, black obsidian, clear quartz, smoke quartz, moss agate, hematite, black tourmaline, malachite, garnet, fluorite, peridot, aquamarine, carnelian, lapis lazuli, tiger’s eye, labradorite, and more. All crystal varieties are included. The CPSC recall number is 27-026.
Why Was This Product Recalled?
The inner layer of glass can break while the cup is in use, sending glass pieces into the drink. Swallowing glass can cause serious internal injuries, and broken glass can also cut the mouth, lips, or hands. The company has received one report of glass breaking inside a cup while someone was drinking from it. No injuries have been reported. The CPSC handled this as a Fast Track recall, meaning the company worked quickly with the agency to address the hazard.
