PIXLABBY is recalling approximately 860 Silicone Sensory Magnetic Fidget Sliders after the CPSC determined the toys can release loose high-powered magnets that pose a serious ingestion hazard to children. The recall was announced August 6, 2026. The CPSC is aware of one report of a child who removed the silicone casing, accessed the two small magnets inside, and swallowed them — resulting in hospitalization. The fidget sliders were sold exclusively on Amazon.com from October 2025 through May 2026 for approximately $10.
What’s Being Recalled?
The recall covers PIXLABBY 6-PCS Silicone Sensory Magnetic Fidget Sliders, sold in six two-tone color combinations: yellow/red, pink/yellow, orange/purple, blue/orange, green/blue, and red/green. Each slider has a different silicone texture on the top and bottom surfaces and makes a clicking sound when slid. “PIXLABBY” is printed on the front of the box. The sliders contain high-powered magnets inside the silicone casing.
Why Was This Product Recalled?
The recalled fidget sliders violate the mandatory federal safety standard for toys because the silicone casing can be removed or broken open, liberating the small high-powered magnets inside. If two or more high-powered magnets are swallowed, they can attract each other through the walls of the digestive tract, causing intestinal perforations, twisting, blockage, blood poisoning, and death. One child was hospitalized after swallowing magnets accessed from this product.
