Workbless Recalls Electric Pressure Washers Over Shock And Electrocution Hazard From Missing GFCI Protection

Product Recall

Guangzhou Ao Lian Ya Wang Luo Ke Ji You Xian Gong Si, doing business as Workbless of China, is recalling approximately 2,200 Workbless Electric Pressure Washers after the CPSC determined the units lack the required ground-fault circuit-interrupter (GFCI) and adequate-length power cord, posing serious risks of injury or death from shock and electrocution. The recall was announced late August, 2026. No incidents or injuries have been reported.

What’s Being Recalled?

Two Workbless electric pressure washer models are included, both green and black:

Model WB0301 — approximately 27.24 inches high, 10.83 inches wide, 8.39 inches deep. Labeled “WORKBLESS,” “WB0301,” and “ELECTRIC PRESSURE WASHER” on the back.

Model WB0302 — approximately 29.57 inches high, 14.69 inches wide, 10.94 inches deep. Labeled “WORKBLESS,” “WB0302,” and “HEAVY DUTY ELECTRIC PRESSURE WASHER” on the back.

Both came with four quick-connect nozzles and a foam cannon. The washers were sold at Amazon.com, Best Buy, Kohl’s, Lowe’s, Overstock, Target, and Walmart from April 2025 through July 2026 for between $97 and $140.

Why Was This Product Recalled?

The recalled pressure washers lack an integral GFCI — a required safety device that cuts power when it detects a difference in electrical current, preventing electrocution. Without GFCI protection, water contact with the electrical components during use can result in fatal electric shock. The short power cord also increases the likelihood of consumers using an extension cord, which further elevates electrocution risk when used with water.

What Should You Do?

Stop using the recalled Workbless pressure washers immediately. Contact Workbless for a full refund by emailing [email protected] or calling 833-725-3151, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT. You will need to cut the unplugged power cord in half and send a photo of the destroyed pressure washer. Visit workbless.net/recall for instructions.
