Phoenix, AZ – Police are investigating a shooting that occurred near the Phoenix Mountains Preserve. According to authorities, the incident took place in the vicinity of Piestewa Peak. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect remains at large and police are asking anyone with information to come forward. The area near the preserve remains closed off as the investigation continues.
