A man was arrested in Phoenix after a police chase that ended near the Arizona State Capitol. The suspect, who was seen swerving on the road and running red lights, led police through several city neighborhoods before finally stopping near the Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza. Witnesses reported seeing the suspect abandon his vehicle and flee on foot towards the Phoenix Convention Center. After a short pursuit, he was apprehended by police and taken into custody. The incident caused temporary road closures and delays near the Capitol complex and other notable landmarks in the city, including the Phoenix Art Museum and the Burton Barr Central Library.
